Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon Rolls are soft, fluffy, and sweet pastries made with a tender yeast dough filled with cinnamon and brown sugar. Baked until golden and topped with a smooth cream cheese frosting, these rolls offer a delicious combination of warm spices, buttery filling, and creamy sweetness. Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1 large egg
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, softened
115 g cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1–2 tbsp milk
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5–8 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4-inch thick.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other and cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Arrange the rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let them rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Bake the rolls for 20–25 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- To make the frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk, then mix until creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls.
- Serve warm and enjoy your soft and delicious Cinnamon Rolls!
